Create a long-lasting voluminous look

The first step to succeed involves washing your hair with the right type of products. It’s important to lay the foundation by using hair care products that gives your hair a lift. For instance, the shampoo and conditioner from our Volumizing range. Two hair care products enriched with rice protein and vitamin B5, which strengthens and moisturizes your hair without weighing it down. Leaving you with a stronger hair full of volume.

Tip! Shampoo at least twice or until the shampoo properly lathers. Then apply the conditioner, ensuring that you massage it into both your hair and scalp.

After you've laid the foundation, it's time to apply firming products with light hold that help you to achieve a fuller look. We recommend using a volumizing mousse, for example Volume Mousse. An easy-to-use product that is applied into towel-dried or damp hair.

Tip! Remember not to apply the mousse on to the lengths of your hair, as it can result in weighing it down instead.

Don't allow your hair to self-dry! Although water is good for us in many ways, it can unfortunately dry out your hair. When going for a voluminous look, we recommend you to blow-dry your hair from below by gently leaning forward whilst using the dryer. This will give your hair an additional lift, helping you to build up more volume.

Preferably use a round brush, for example the new Long Barrel Brush, to dry and style your hair. The best way to build volume when using such a brush is primarily focusing on the roots, but do make sure that you also work on the lengths for a nice overall look.

Tip! Don't forget to use heat protection before blow-drying your hair to avoid damaging it.

After you’ve styled your hair as desired, we recommend giving it a volume boost by using our new Volumizing Dry Shampoo Paste. Take a small amount of paste, heat it between your hands and massage the product into the roots using your fingertips. The result will be a fuller hair with great volume!

If you want even more durable volume and texture, you can apply the Dry Spray Texture & Volume on to your roots. Lastly, finish off by spraying hairspray all over your hair to ensure a longer-lasting result.

Tip! Choose a hairspray based on how you want your hair to look and feel. If you’re going for a softer feel, choose a hairspray with a lighter hold. Don't be afraid to brush out your hair after application as brushing it will give you an even fuller and more beautiful look!
