Johan, can you tell us about the inspiration behind the new Cool Blonde series?
The inspiration for Cool Blonde came, as always, from our clients at the salons. Many people with blonde, bleached or gray hair struggle with maintaining their color and keeping it bright and healthy. They often face issues with unwanted yellow and brassy tones as well as damaged hair because of chemical treatments. We wanted to create a solution that not only neutralizes these unwanted tones but also nourishes and strengthens the hair.
What sets Cool Blonde apart from other products on the market?
The key differentiator is our formulation. Cool Blonde is enriched with Ceramides, Natural Oat Lipids, and Amino Acids. These ingredients work together to boost brightness and enhance shine while repairing and strengthening the hair. Additionally, the series has a fresh, uplifting scent with notes of green tea, lime, violet, and musk, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
Can you tell us more about the benefits of the caring key ingredients?
Of course. Ceramides are crucial because they restore the hair’s natural barrier, locking in moisture and protecting the hair from damage. This is especially important for hair that has been chemically treated, as it tends to be more brittle. Natural Oat Lipids are fantastic for smoothing the hair cuticle, reducing frizz, and enhancing shine. They provide a protective layer that keeps the hair looking glossy and feeling soft. Lastly, Amino Acids are the building blocks of protein, which repair and moisturize the hair, preventing breakage and maintaining its structural integrity.
Can you guide us through how to use the products for best results?
Start with the shampoo to cleanse and begin neutralizing brassy tones. Apply to wet hair and scalp, massage until lather appears. Rinse thoroughly. After shampooing, apply the conditioner to damp hair and scalp. Make sure to massage the conditioner into the scalp and rinse thoroughly. This will further enhance brightness and add moisture, leaving your hair looking vibrant and healthy.
Once a week or more you can switch the conditioner for the hair mask for an intensive treatment. Apply to towel-dried hair and scalp after shampooing, leave it in for at least three minutes, and rinse thoroughly. You can gradually increase the leave-in time for stronger neutralization. The hair mask also contains a UV filter to protect your hair against sun damage and maintain your color.

Who are the series for?

Yes, we’re thrilled to have Victoria Silvstedt as the face of our Cool Blonde campaign. When we thought of the ultimate cool blonde to represent our brand, Victoria was the first person that came to our mind. She’s a Swedish icon who has always stayed true to her hair color, and her hair is an iconic part of her personal brand.
