"U"

Djursholm, Stockholm. Built 1968 by architect Adam Backstrom.

The working title for our photoshoot in the 60’s house in Djursholm in Stockholm was “U”. “U” originates from the German designation for voltage, also called “Unterschied”, which means difference. Difference. Different. A description of a gap between two people. A gap filled with an exciting force, a fascination and a curiousness of what awaits us on the other side.

What is the unknown to you?

We used the environment to highlight the beauty of two counterparts: Caroline and Ivy.

The tension between these two women was created with a minimalistic approach, with enhanced lines and simplicity in the details.

“Their differences create a tension, an interaction that makes them excel.

An interaction of two opposites that attract and spark. That’s the energy that sparks a light.”
