How come you became a hairdresser and how long have you worked here at Björn Axén?

I’ve always been both very curious and creative, I guess it’s in my nature. That's probably why I wanted to become a hairdresser when I was young and decided to study hairdressing in high school. Today I’ve been a hairdresser for nine years and worked at Björn Axén for about two years.

What’s the best part about your job?

I would probably say that the best part about my job is bringing joy to others by highlighting their beauty. The appreciation I receive in return is truly priceless!

You meet so many customers every day, do they ever leave a lasting impression?

There’s a long list of amazing customers that I’ve had over the years that have made lasting impressions on me! I usually look forward to their next visit and it's exciting when I look through my schedule in the morning to see that the customer is coming back. That’s a feeling I think all my colleagues can relate to!

What hair treatment do you enjoy the most?

Color, color and once again color! I couldn’t live without color. That's when I’m able to challenge myself and create something beautiful in my own way. It's a way for me to be creative, which I love and have so much fun doing!

If you could style a celebrity's hair, whose would it be?

Beyoncé, without a doubt! Especially since I'm a BIG fan and love her music! I probably wouldn’t complicate it too much and just do her signature look: long and curly hair parted in the middle. My joy would be indescribable!

What’s your best tip?

There are several different haircuts and styles, so dare to change your look, even if you only make small changes. It will always grow back!
