Backstage at Paris Fashion Week
Paris Fashion Week is always a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and self-expression, and this season we had the opportunity to work backstage on the Acne Studios and Julie Kegels runway shows together with renowned hair artist Louis Ghewy.
From the first styling session backstage to the final walk down the runway, the looks were all about texture, shape, and movement, each carefully designed to complement the designers' creative vision.
Julie Kegels: Playing with Gravity
For Julie Kegels, the hair looks explored the concept of gravity and illusion. Sleek ponytails were paired with floating extensions that appeared suspended above the hair, creating a distinctive and unexpected runway statement.
For models with natural curls, the focus was on enhancing texture and movement while celebrating their natural hair pattern.

Acne Studios: Soft Volume with a Strong Presence
At Acne Studios, inspiration came from 17th-century portraiture, interpreted through a modern lens. The result was soft, cloud-like silhouettes with dramatic volume and shape, creating looks that felt both delicate and powerful.
The hairstyles balanced softness with attitude, perfectly complementing the collection's mix of modernity, strength and individuality.
