Collection autumn/Winter 2015 - twist of amber
This autumn’s collection is inspired by different types of knitting and crochet. We take a look at the soft lines of the 70s, which have a relaxed feeling. Sneakers are also used as a source of inspiration in this collection, but of the classier kind, where the details in the patterns and colours are softer and more luxurious.
The women’s cuts have a soft, feminine expression, in which some sections provide contrast, but with slightly softer transitions. Basic shapes, such as textured and blunt cuts, are given attitude using a range of colours and styling details. Necklines are soft, and we work with longer fringes in both men’s and women’s styles.
The feel of the styling is also soft and somewhat “woolly”, created by the knotted details and fluffy ends.
The updos are knotted to give the impression of a knitted garment! We like the idea that the hair is not entirely up and the knotted areas get the spotlight, like a wonderful detail or a piece of jewellery.
The colours are naturally “naked” tones, where any effects tend towards warm yellows, golds and oranges. We are inspired by metallic bronze hair that verges on both hot and cold.
The colour applications have been free watercolour techniques in which patterns have been created where the colours meet.
