Flowers and hair 2017/18
Flowers and hair have a rich historical relationship and there are endless opportunities for combining the two. We want to challenge tradition and inspire new ways of thinking.
Finding new flower families is exciting, and it’s fun to use them with other materials to create different kinds of ornamentation. Here’s inspiration to be bolder than you initially planned when deciding on a style for a Midsummer party, a summer cocktail evening, the student ball, etc.
Braids and various types of twists will continue to be trendy, but we are returning to working with cleaner techniques and instead finding unexpected shapes and combinations using flowers and ribbons. Braids can also be done in damp hair in the evening, removed in the morning and styled to make a cool version of waves.
